We are informing you about a change in the RStudio service. From April 2nd, the rstudio.hpc.ut.ee service is closed. This application ran on a virtual machine that was designed for testing proof-of-concept type tasks but was not suitable for working with large amounts of data. Therefore, we closed it.
However, RStudio will remain accessible through ondemand.hpc.ut.ee, which is a significantly faster and more convenient way to use the service. The advantages of RStudio ondemand.hpc.ut.ee:The application runs on the HPC cluster Rocket.
Each user's RStudio instance is isolated. There is no resource sharing.
Various versions of R are available.
Resource allocation according to need.
Monitoring option via Elastic (elk.hpc.ut.ee).
Here are the instructions on how to run RStudio jobs via ondemand.hpc.ut.ee: https://docs.hpc.ut.ee/public/cluster/First_steps/ondemand/#rstudio
For additional questions, the HPC Center's Technical Support will help at support@hpc.ut.ee. - Investigating · UTC
